"Great design should make you happy and make your life easier."

Jennifer Bertrand is best known as the winner of HGTV’s ‘Design Star’ drawing over 5 million viewers to her no-nonsense, accessible approach to making positive and impactful design changes without breaking the bank.  She is also the winner of Angie’s List first ever “Sleep Sanctuary” contest in conjunction with Arianna Huffington’s book “The Sleep Revolution” mastering a bedroom design to meet the 5 rules of a well-designed bedroom as outlined in Arianna’s book.

And since winning, she has continued to share her passion for interiors through her design firm with projects collaborating with the Ronald McDonald House Charities working with the NFL, MLB, and MLS. She also has designed a NICU respite space in Chicago’s Northwestern Hospital as well as others RMHC projects throughout Chicago as well as in Tampa and Houston. On top of all of that, she is designing homes both locally and abroad in Costa Rica, New Zealand, Roatan and Italy, which is as fun as it sounds.  Her brand adventures include serving on Monogram’s Design Council, being an NKBA insider, hosting podcasts for the NKBA, presenting at KBIS’ Voices of the Industry, and collaborating with various national brands and has appeared in countless media outlets and social media outlets.

Bertrand currently is the designer on Lifetime channel’s “Military Makeover” with host Montel Williams where they produce home makeovers for Military Veterans of all branches showing them appreciation for their service while working with national companies and communities all over the United States to create a beautiful thank you for some of our Nations’ Veterans.
